Cadence is pleased to announce its support for Wythe County’s plans for a next-generation A.I. computing campus within Progress Park following last week’s public statement by Wythe County and the project’s developer, Solis Arx. As the general contractor for the project, Cadence is already mobilized on site to support early-phase preparation activities. These efforts include working with local partners to ready the property for future construction. “Cadence approaches this work with the steady discipline and clear vision a project like this deserves. I value their partnership and the leadership they are bringing to the build at Progress Park” said Robert Noll, CEO Solis Arx.

Cadence brings deep technical experience in delivering complex, mission-critical facilities. With a background rooted in large-scale infrastructure, energy-intensive developments, and digitally driven operations, Cadence is responsible for ensuring the project is executed safely, efficiently, and with long-term reliability in mind. “Our team has a proven track record of delivering sophisticated facilities under demanding schedules, and we are honored to bring that capability to Wythe County,” said Kevin Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of Cadence. “We look forward to working closely with Solis Arx, local leadership, and our partners as this important initiative moves forward.”

As planning continues, Cadence is committed to engaging with the local workforce, technical schools, subcontractors, and businesses throughout the region. “The chief goal for economic development is to support opportunities that will benefit our community for years to come. We know that our region’s businesses and skilled workforce are valuable resources for Cadence and its partners in this complex and significant project” commented David Manley, Executive Director of the Joint Industrial Development Authority of Wythe County.

Cadence looks forward to supporting Wythe County and the Commonwealth of Virginia as they advance this long-term investment in Progress Park.
